Immerse yourself in the intricate, challenging world of Stave Puzzles during the 5th annual Stave Puzzling Weekend at Blackberry Farm. Join other aficionados around our roaring fireplaces and puzzle through the fun-filled weekend of February 19–21.

 

Behind the Lens
March 4 - 7
We welcome back photography-loving guests for our Behind the Lens Digital Photography Weekend! Lead again by talented instructors Heather Anne Thomas of beall + thomas photography and David Marx of the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, the weekend will take guests behind the scenes at Blackberry Farm to see the property as few guests have ever seen it before.

 

Music in the Mountains
March 8

Singer-Songwriter Lee Brice is country all the way, with his rugged feel of the steel guitar and fiddle. Influenced by the likes of Garth Brooks, Hank Williams, Jr., Tom Petty, and Ray Charles, Brice doesn't compare himself to these artists but notes that he puts the same love and effort into music that his fans can believe in.

 

Artist in Residence:  Andrew Saftel

This Spring, we welcome renowned artist Andrew Saftel to Blackberry Farm for a time of inspiration, discovery and artistry as we begin our Artist in Residence Series. Explore Blackberry’s Garden alongside Andrew as he sets up his easel and sketches the plants of the season. Witness the stepby-step imaginative process of creating one of his works of art. Hear the stories and experience the journey as it comes alive on the canvas. We invite you to walk these days in the shoes of the truly remarkable Andrew Saftel and share in the magic of seeing the world through the artist’s eye.

 

Yoga Getaway

Experience yoga like never before, surrounded by the pristine setting of Blackberry Farm, as you learn new positions, challenge your limits and discover a new degree of calm. From beginner to advanced, this series encourages you to channel your inner being through focus and balance in both mind and body. Find inspiration and healing as highly acclaimed yoga instructor, Danelle New, founder of Fine Balance Wellness in New York City, guides you through a series of routines for full body restoration. With the rolling hills of Blackberry as your backdrop, unfold the inner nature of yourself as you find control in your breath and awaken your spirit in the basics of yoga poses.

 

Art of Entertaining

Step into the world of elegant luxury as we celebrate the Art of Entertaining.  We are thrilled to welcome author, designer and style virtuoso William Yeoward as he shares his signature philosophy for entertaining and his special sense of occasion.  Learn the  unique tricks of the trade as you set the perfect table, create inspired centerpieces and explore the details that make your event truly one-of-a-kind.  With good company and sumptuous dining paired alongside William's trademark style and unique pieces, this event is not to be missed!

 

Music in the Mountains
June 6

Singer-Songwriter Richie McDonald joins the line-up for Music in the Mountains this summer.  McDonald is best known as the frontman of the band Lonestar, with hits such as "Amazed" and "Smile."  As one of the industry's most successful songwriters, he has penned some of the era's most memorable songs and earned a mantle full of awards and nominations.  Now beginning his much-anticipated solo career, McDonald joins us at Blackberry Farm for a summer evening of music and storytelling.

 

Epicurean Collector

July 23 - 25
Join us for this special event, July 23-25, featuring the first name in antique collecting, Patrick Dunne.  Set during the revolutionary month of July, this event will take you on the journey of the culinary revolution and all of its quirky twists and turns through history.  With one-of-a-kind antique pieces and the stories of how the modern table evolved, Patrick Dunne of Lucullus Culinary Antiques, Art and Objects will lead the way through the evolution of the Epicurean Collector.  With Patrick’s signature style and inspired understanding of the past, peek behind the curtain into the kitchens of history and find the collector in you!

 

Music in the Mountains

August 24
Join two of the most intriguing names in the music business for a special night of performances as Gunnar Nelson and Chas Sandford take the stage. Gunnar rose to prominence in the late 1980s along with his brother, Matthew, with the release of the triple-platinum album “After the Rain”, and went on to start his own record label. Alongside Gunnar is singer-songwriter-producer Chas Sandford, who has opened for acts like The Eagles, and written songs recorded by artists Tina Turner and Rod Stewart, including "Missing You" by John Waite and "Talk to Me" by Stevie Nicks.

 

Music in the Mountains
November 7
Pull up a seat for an intimate evening of food, wine and song with hit-makers and multi-nominated singer-songwriters Darryl Worley and Wynn Varble. Hear all the chart-topping tunes, and the stories behind them, these two Tennessee talents have written for greats including George Jones, Lee Ann Womack, Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley.
