Blackberry Farm Foundation donates $30,000 to Three Blount County Charities

Blackberry Farm Foundation announces it’s first round of giving since its inception of $30,000 by donating to Blount County based charities including New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center, Harmony Family Center and Maryville High School’s Café le Reve.

“We are so thankful to have each one of these charities in our community and can’t be more pleased to assist with special projects,” said Proprietor Sam Beall.

On Oct. 31, 2013, representatives from each charity, East Tennessee Foundation and Blount County Mayor Ed Mitchell gathered at a luncheon at Blackberry Farm to celebrate and thank each of these charities for the work provided in the Blount County community.
