Maryville City Schools & Cafe Le Reve

Built on a dream of a teacher to provide special needs students an environment to grow and learn life skills, Café le Reve is a making a difference.

The café sits in the heart of Maryville High School and provides school credit and a friendly environment for students of varying abilities to learn key skills in the restaurant industry. Cooking, hosting, serving, dishwashing, and now even gardening for the restaurant, Café le Reve offers students the opportunity to have onsite work experience and to learn valuable skills for the workplace. Many students go on to have restaurant careers and others have even attended culinary academys.

In 2016, Café le Reve and the Maryville High School Culinary program will expand to a new building with the help of the Blackberry Farm Foundation. This new building will allow more students to enter the culinary program as well as increase the space for Café le Reve. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new chapter for Café le Reve and Maryville City Schools! The Blackberry Farm Foundation has been a supporter of Café le Reve and Maryville City Schools for many years and is excited to help this program grow.
