Our Brewery

Our Chief Fermentation Officer, Roy Milner, is eager to get the news out about the most recent developments for the Blackberry Farm Brewery.


What is the inspiration for your brewery?

We are inspired by the rich brewing traditions of the Old World, characterized by thoughtfully sourced quality ingredients and unhurried processes, while reflecting the unique changing seasons and culinary heritage of the South. Our beers are crafted to be enjoyed at the table – paired with good food, friendship, and conversation.


Should I drink your beer immediately, or save it for a special occasion?

All of our beers are carefully cellared here in East Tennessee before being released for sale, so they are ready to drink immediately. However, all of our beers are unfiltered and bottle conditioned and, when stored at cellar temperature, continue to develop subtle nuances and character as they age. When kept at cellar temperature, our beer can be aged for several years before being opened without any loss of quality.


Where can I find Blackberry Farm beer?

We are available at a wide variety of restaurants, retailers, and bottle shops in 38 states. Visit the Buy section of our website to find out if we are distributed near you.


I see that you are sold in my state, but can’t seem to find your beer in my area. How can I find it?

Please let us know if there is a favorite restaurant, bottle shop, or grocer near you that you think should carry our beer. We would be happy to reach out to our distributor to make it available in your area!


When did you begin brewing beer?

We first began producing beer in 2011, selling our products to Blackberry Farm guests and a few select restaurants in the Southeast. In response to increased demand for our beers, we moved into a larger production facility in 2015 and expanded our distribution.


Do you have a taproom, or offer tours to the public?

At this time we are a production facility only, and are not open to the public.
