Abbey Blonde

This first offering in our Abbey series is inspired by the rich monastic brewing tradition found throughout much of the Old World. Often referred to as an Abbey Single, Enkel, or Patersbier, this light and balanced style of ale was historically brewed for Cistercian monks for their own daily sustenance, and was rarely offered outside the confines of the abbey walls. Crafted with pilsner malt for a lightly sweet, earthy flavor and medium body, this sessionable Blonde Ale features perfectly balanced malt and hop character.
