Event Description
One of the South’s most ambitious and passionate chefs, Chris Shepherd—Owner of Underbelly Hospitality Restaurant Group and creator of Southern Smoke, a nonprofit that supports those in the food and beverage industry that are in need—has taken the Houston culinary scene by storm. Honored with a James Beard Award for Best Chef Southwest, Chris’s concepts are wonderfully unconventional (think a five-year restaurant that changes themes every year) and his food is simply fantastic. We cannot wait to share Chris’s utterly delicious creations, which celebrate diverse terrains and re-imagine local fare. We're excited to also be featuring winemaker Bruno Gaspar and US importer Billy Weiss of North Berkeley Imports.
