Event Description
Late Blackberry Farm Proprietor Sam Beall was a passionate champion of the culinary arts, lending his support to rising vintners, chefs, producers and hospitality professionals. We raise our glasses in honor of Sam’s legacy with the launch of the Sam Beall Foundation. Chef Daniel Boulud, one of the most renowned chefs of our time, will join us to celebrate with a demonstration and dinner. With multiple James Beard Awards, Michelin stars and restaurants under his belt, Daniel is known for modern, soulful cuisine inspired by the rhythm of the seasons and rooted in the French tradition. Importer Billy Weiss will round out the meal with wine from multiple vintners, including Sylvie Vacheron of Clos de Caillou. Proceeds will help passionate, hospitality-minded young people experience the business of great restaurants, hotels and craftsmen so they can lead the industry forward. This will include scholarships to sponsor young professionals for stages in worldrenowned restaurants. Join us for a marvelous, meaningful gathering as we honor our cherished friend and celebrate the next culinary leaders.
