Event Description
Just as our beloved late Proprietor’s legacy and vision for Blackberry Farm continues to grow and flourish, so does this remarkable event, now in its third year. Our annual Passing the Torch pays tribute to Sam Beall, the generous and passionate spirit behind much of Blackberry Farm, who tirelessly sought new ways to support and encourage up-and-coming chefs, restaurateurs and vintners. He recognized the importance of the people who helped him in his own journey and found many ways to give back to others with similar hospitality-minded aspirations. Benefitting the Sam Beall Fellows Program, which provides scholarships to young professionals in the food, wine and hotel industries, this year’s unforgettable event brings celebrated Chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara, along with renowned Wine Importer Eric Solomon to Blackberry for inspired meals and engaging conversation. Expect incredible wine and food, some of the restaurant world’s leading personalities, special tastings and plenty of time to talk around the table, just as Sam would have wanted.
