Event Description

Sam Beall, the beloved late proprietor of Blackberry Farm, was always looking to support and encourage up-and-coming chefs, restaurateurs and vintners. He recognized the importance of the people who helped him in his own journey and always sought ways to give back to others with similar hospitality-minded aspirations. In our second annual Passing the Torch event, we'll pay tribute to Sam's generous spirit and legacy with an unforgettable celebration benefiting the Sam Beall Fellows Program, which provides scholarships to young professionals in the food, wine and hotel businesses. This year, we'll be joined by the acclaimed Chef Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas for remarkable meals and Blackberry conversation. Expect incredible wine and food, one of the most iconic faces of the restaurant world, engaging tastings and plenty of time to talk around the table, just as Sam would have wanted.
