Event Description

Taste of the South is our annual salute to the voices and hands shaping the South’s rich food traditions—and the South’s evolving future. It’s also an incredible party long beloved by friends of Blackberry. This year’s gathering, which benefits the Southern Foodways Alliance and features the Fellowship of Southern Farmers, Artisans and Chefs, will include cooking demonstrations, lectures and tastings. The Fellowship will induct a new member, Chef Rodney Scott, as we celebrate his contributions to the Southern food scene. We are thrilled to welcome Chefs Mashama Bailey, Edouardo Jordan and Ryan Prewitt, along with Wine Importer Frederick Corriher and Scholar-in-Residence Lolis Eric Elie. Come and celebrate as we raise a glass to all that the Southern table has been—and all it’s becoming.
