Each month we produce a “Bucket List” of items that you just cannot miss out on while you are at Blackberry Farm.  For February, we have changed our direction in a more romantic way. This month, we have created a Menu of Love!

Champagne on Arrival
You’ve arrived! Now it is time to relax and start off your getaway with a toast to each other and what is going to come in the next few days!

Cocktails Watching the Sunset
The best view of the sunset at Blackberry Farm is gazing out the windows of the Gambrel Lounge, so stop by around 6:30 pm for one of Andrew’s famous “temptations”!

Dinner by Lantern Light
You are both looking your best for dinner, but flickering light casts a glow that makes everything seem a bit more dreamy. If you are here the weekend before Valentines or on the holiday itself make sure you ask for the aphrodisiac menu! Between the timeless results of sensual food and lamplight, you will fall in love all over again!

Rose Petal Turndown
Imagine walking into your room glowing with candles, scattered with rose petals, chocolates and strawberries…we will leave the rest of the evening to you!

Couples Massage
At this point you should be sufficiently “in a Blackberry State of Mind,” but just in case there is any lingering twinges of stress, head down to the FarmHouse Spa for a couples massage and you will both come out ready take on the day!

Creekside Lunch
You can take your lunch in the Main house, on a hike, or we will set up a Creekside Picnic (weather permitting) complete with blanket, flowers, and a bottle of wine. All of the sudden you’ve gone from sweetheart to hero. You’re welcome!

Romantic Carriage Ride
Snuggle into a comfy carriage, see the property and hear the clip clop of the horses hooves. This is your chance to slow down and escape together.

Flowers in the Room
You’ve been out and about all day, so surprise your lover with yet another touch of romance. While you are out, we will slip a bouquet of flowers into the room, just let us know what you want to the card to say!

A Dinner that is Short and Sweet
After your romantic dinner last night and the activities of the day, we understand if you want to make the dining experience shorter and spend more time in your room, so try out our Gambrel Menu offered in the Gambrel Lounge. Each night, the chef creates a menu that is shorter in courses, yet just as filling. An experience in its own right, and we understand the real reason you are here…to be together!
