Ways to Use Mushroom Spread

Born first in our dining room as a healthy alternative to butter, our Mushroom Spread is the result of finding stunning fungi in the hillsides of our property and wanting to share that in an elegant way.  As we received rave reviews from our guests, we decided to tweak the recipe so they could take it home. Pick up a jar of Mushroom Spread today and find out all the ways you can use it in your kitchen.

Start your morning off right by simply mixing the mushroom spread into scrambled eggs. The flavors give the eggs a perfect earthiness.

Mix into a warm risotto or fresh pasta to make a great mushroom dish.

Toss with roasted beets and Georgia Olive Oil for a southern salad.

Put in a pie shell with your favorite fresh cheese (we like Brebis) and make a savory pie by heating to 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until filling is hot and cheese is nice and melted.

Stuff underneath chicken skin and roast in a broiler until skin is nice and crispy. Then finish in an oven set at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until 160 degrees internal temperature.  Let the breast rest for 10 minutes on a warm platter.
Sauté asparagus using grapeseed oil until lightly cooked and add in Blackberry’s Mushroom Spread to heat up. Then top with a warm poached egg.  Yeah…too good to leave out!

Serve Mushroom Spread with Singing Brook crisps by grating Singing Brook Cheese using a mirco plan and bake on a silpat at 350 degrees until golden brown and crispy.
