 What ingredient can you not live without?
Aged balsamic vinegar, its sweet and sour balance enhances everything you put it on. Recently, I have discovered goat butter which is fresh and light and adds depth and richness.
 
If you could only cook with one pan/dish what would it be?
The Le Creuset dutch oven because its versatility is endless.
 
What is your favorite thing to do when not in the kitchen?
Workout, ski, and hang out with my dogs.
 
Favorite memory in the kitchen?
As a little girl, I helped my grandmother bake cakes and brownies.  I was too little to reach the mixer so she would put me on the counter and let me add the ingredients in whatever she was making. It is a fond memory that I am sure plays into what I am doing and why I am doing what I do today.
 
 What would you be if you were not a Chef?
I can't imagine doing anything else because cooking and teaching are my passions.
