What ingredient can you not live without?
Newman Farm Pork. They exemplify what we strive for.

If you could only cook with one pan/dish what would it be?
My grandmother's ravioli press. 

What is your favorite thing to do when not in the kitchen?
Hanging out with family and friends. 

Favorite memory in the kitchen?
Professionally, that first time in the James Beard house is pretty
great. But I'm with Andy, cooking with Maw Maw, and watching my dad learn
how to cook like her still gives me chills and inspires me. And I'll
never forget when Andy handed me the phone in the kitchen at Andrew
Michael and it was Dana Cowin telling us we had been selected for Food &
Wine's Best New Chefs 2013. I think I may have cussed at her a little.

What would you be if you were not a Chef? 

An actor because my mom says that I look like George Clooney.
