During May

During the month of May, bright blooms blanket the countryside, as Blackberry Farm is filled with new life on the farm and green on the grounds! This May, we are also celebrating wellness month with customized wellness activities programming and experiences as well as wellness-minded dishes at each meal!

Friends of the Farm

The warmer temperatures make the grass beg for bare feet, the creeks welcome the swell of cool mountain waters, and hillsides paint themselves with lush green leaves and wildflowers. May is the first announcement of summer, and it's received at the farm with open arms. At this point in the year, we find ourselves outside all the time as the longer days allow us to do even more outside like a morning run, planting the summer garden, an afternoon on the creek, more time with the family, and more time to focus on ourselves. This month on Friends of the Farm, we explore all the ways to celebrate wellness from physical exercise, fresh recipes, and even a touch of indulgence with a lighter calorie count!
