Staying Hydrated
Hydration is one of the most important and basic elements to maintaining good health. Whether you are moderately active or an elite athlete, keeping yourself hydrated will keep all of your organs doing their job correctly and efficiently. Benefits include glowing skin, healthy digestion, and higher energy levels.

Here are a few tips that make "staying hydrated" easier!

  1. Keep a bottle of water with you all the time.
  2. Add a slice of lemon or lime to a drink if you get bored with plain water
  3. Drink water before, during and after your workout to replenish water used during your work out.
  4. Schedule your drinking if you have a hard time remembering to drink water. Try drinking when you wake up, at each meal and before you go to sleep.
  5. Drink when you feel hungry. Most of us misinterpret hunger for thirst. While a glass of water won't quench real hunger, it will hydrate and give you the feeling of being full.
