Now in its fifth year, the Blackberry Farm Pro-Am Classic has grown into a beloved Fall tradition at the Farm. The three-day event, set for Sept. 15-18,not only provides the serene experience of cycling in the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, but it also allows guests the rare opportunity to rideside-by-side with former professionals. This year, the Blackberry Farm Pro-Am Classic is once again welcoming a marquee lineup of professionals, many ofwhich competed in the top Grand Tours. As always, the scenic rides will be capped off with an epicurean feast from guest chefs and vintners.

George Hincapie
Hincapie is a 14-time finisher of the Tour de France and founder of Hincapie Sportswear.

Christian Vande Velde
Vande Velde has competed in almost every top cycling event in the world, including all three Grand Tours.

Robbie Ventura
Ventura is the founder and owner of Vision Quest Coaching. He has amassedover 70 victories during his professional cycling career, was a member of the U.S. World Team and rode the Track World Championships in Hamar, Norway, placing 5th in the elimination.

Tyler Farrar
Farrar rode professionally between 2003 and 2017. He has won six individual stages as well as assisting in two team time trials in Grand Tours.

Mari Holden
Holden won theworld time trial championship in 2000 after winning a silver medal in the Olympic Games time trial in Sydney, Australia. She also won six U.S. championships, becoming the first American woman to win three consecutive U.S. time trial championships (1998–2000) and scoring a double by winning the U.S. time trial and road championships in 1999.

Tim Johnson
Johnson is one of only three male riders from the United States to stand on a UCI Cylcocross World Championships podium. Hehas six career national championships. Johnson is also the director for development for the USA Cycling Foundation.

Craig Lewis

Lewis competed professionally as a U.S. cyclist from 2007 to 2013, racing for some of the top U.S. teams and making appearances on some of the largest stages in the world

Dr. Kevin Sprouse
Sprouse is board certified in both Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Sprouse serves as team physician and sports science consultant to the Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling Team, traveling throughout the year to care for these professional cyclists at events such at Paris-Roubaix, the Giro d’Italia, and the Tour de France.

Dr. Allen Lim
Dr. Allen Lim has worked on the Pro Cycling Tour as a sport scientist and coach for the Phonak, Garmin, and Radio Shack professional cycling teams. After leaving the Pro Tour in 2012, Allen founded Skratch Labs - a sports nutrition company based in Boulder, CO, where he leads product development and innovation. Allen continues to coach and consult professional athletes.
