What is the difference between Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain?

Blackberry Farm is Situated on a pastoral 4,200-acre estate in the Great Smoky Mountains, Blackberry Farm will show you the many reasons why it is one of the top-rated properties in the world. Blackberry Farm&rsquo;s renowned Foothills Cuisine&reg; is inspired by what comes from the Farm and the region. Opportunities on the Farm include cycling, music events, inspired wine and food events with award winning chefs, photography, garden experiences, spa and more.

Blackberry Mountain is founded on the same principals of unparalleled hospitality and luxury that have always been the hallmark of the Blackberry brand. The spacious property is prime for peaceful relaxation or incredible adventure. Opportunities at the Mountain include aerial yoga, Naturopathic spa services, rock climbing, Raku pottery, complimentary morning group fitness and wellness classes and so much more!

Are activities included at Blackberry Farm? If not, what are complimentary options?

While activities like Horseback Riding, Fly Fishing, activities at our Smoky Mountain Sports Club, Mastercraft Boating Experiences and many more are offered at an additional rate, the Farm has plenty of complimentary leisure activities. Guests may enjoy complimentary access to swimming pools on property, namely the Wellhouse Pool open year-round for guests 16 and older and the Farmside Pool open seasonally Memorial Day through Labor Day to guests of all ages, tennis and pickleball courts with equipment provided, The Wellhouse fitness center open 24 hours a day and equipped with Pelotons, stair climbers, cable machines and dumbbells, along with other accessories, leisure hiking on any paths and trails on the 4,200-acre property and Destinations by Lexus.

What does the room include? Are there items we can purchase for the room?

Accepted Answer

All accommodations include an in-room pantry stocked with complimentary snack and nonalcoholic beverages. Pantry includes alcohol options at an additional charge. Any additional alcoholic beverages or dining options may be ordered to the room for an additional charge.

If I stay at Blackberry Farm, can I visit Blackberry Mountain for activities or dining?

While we cannot offer dual-property activities and dining while staying at one resort, we do offer dual-property stays for you to get the best of both worlds. Contact reservations for more details.

Question 6

Do you have a pool? Is it open throughout the year? Is it heated?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Blackberry Farm offers two complimentary swimming pools for guests. Our Wellhouse Pool located at The Wellhouse is a heated pool open year-round for guests 16 and up, while our Farmside Pool is open seasonally Memorial Day-Labor Day for guests of all ages.

Can we use the activities/dining without having a room booked?

While we offer incredibly limited outside dinning opportunities, typically property access as well as activities and events are limited to registered guests only.

Where is the closest airport? Do you offer transportation to property?

Accepted Answer

The closest airport to Blackberry Farm is McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS), which is a short 25-minute drive to property. While we do not offer transportation to property, we recommend Chariots of Hire as a reputable transportation service.

Question 9

Do guests need a vehicle when they are on property to get around?

Accepted Answer

Once on property, guests do not need a vehicle to get around property. Blackberry Farm offers complimentary transportation for guests around property in comfortable Lexus vehicle accommodations. The property is also completely accessible via golf cart, which may be included with accommodations or rented daily for an additional charge.

Does my room come with a golfcart?

Suites, Cottages and Houses accommodations all feature a private golf cart included with your stay. Those staying in Historic Rooms and Estate Rooms may rent a golf cart daily for an additional charge.

What is there to do in the surrounding area of Blackberry Farm?

While Blackberry Farm offers an incredible assortment of activities and adventure within the 4,200-acres of property, our resort is also primely located next to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as well as surrounding cities Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Knoxville.

Can large groups (6+ guests) book activities or spa experiences for the same time?

Accepted Answer

We strongly encourage groups of 6 or more guests to book activities and dining as soon as possible with our Concierge team. Our activities are curated experiences for smaller groups and may be limited for larger groups of 6 or more guests.

Can I get married on property?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Blackberry Farm offers several different spaces and wedding offerings to build your once-in-a-lifetime day. Inquiries/Request for Proposals can be filled out here.

Do you have meeting spaces for small groups?

Accepted Answer

Blackberry Farm offers meeting spaces for all group sizes. To book a meeting space for your group please contact Concierge.

Do you have a courtesy vehicle we could barrow during our stay?

Accepted Answer

Through our Destinations by Lexus partnership, Blackberry Farm is proud to offer courtesy Lexus vehicles for guests to use during their stay. Contact concierge to reserve one of our available Lexus vehicles with our compliments.

Question 16

Do you have medical care on-site?

Accepted Answer

Blackberry Farm do not provide on-site medical care. In the instance of an emergency, Blount Memorial Hospital is within a 20-minute drive from property.

Question 17

Are we able to bring our animal?

Accepted Answer

Blackberry Farm is pet friendly. Prior notification is required to bring your pet on property. A one-time companion fee of $250 will be billed upon departure. While on property, all pets must be on a leash and are not permitted in common areas or restaurants, including the Main House Veranda during meals. Due to their location, not all overnight accommodations are pet friendly. Pets must remain crated in the Owner’s room while Owner is dining, on a guided activity, in the Wellhouse or in any other non-pet-friendly area.
