Blackberry Farm Foundation Donates More than $113,000 in 2023

The Blackberry Farm Foundation announced that it has donated more than $113,000 in grants to Blount County charities for 2023. The grant recipients include continued support for Pellissippi State Culinary Center-Blount County Campus, Great Smoky Mountains at Tremont / Walland Elementary School, Boys & Girls Club of Blount County, Special Opps, Inc. / Special Growers, Harmony Family Center / Rainbow Club and Isaiah 177 House of Blount County, and this year Shop with a Cop of Blount County was also awarded a grant donation.

“We are honored to continue celebrating the hard and generous work of these Blount County institutions,” said Blackberry Proprietor Mary Celeste Beall. “We know that it takes dedication and passion to serve the community and make the kind of impact these organizations do. It’s a privilege to be a small part of that and to support the education and services they provide.”

The Blackberry Farm Foundation grants are given to the Blount County-local charitable organizations that focus their services on children and food-related causes. Through the efforts of the foundation, the Blackberry family of brands has donated more than $2 million to local charities over the last decade, including its 2023 gifts which total $113,860.

“The members of these organizations work tirelessly to create a safe, thriving and welcoming environment for all generations in Blount County,” said Blackberry President Matt Alexander. “The generosity of the Blackberry community and our partners allows us to continue supporting their great work and participate in the generous hospitality that is happening in our community.”
