Youth Discovery is a supplemental opportunity for youth to experience more in-depth learning in areas such as painting, ceramics, farmstead and adventure activities while in the company of peers.

Experiential class where youth will learn basic techniques including pinch pots, coil pots, hand gilding and wheel throwing.

Use your map, compass and GPS to find the hidden location of our on-property caches. Find all the caches and build your survival skills knowledge.

Design and create a custom jewelry piece while learning different jewelry and finishing techniques.

Learn basic navigation skills then use them to find select way-points throughout our trails. Be sure to keep an eye out for decoys!

Explore the concepts of our farm-to-table philosophy. Learn planting, harvesting and seed-saving techniques that you can apply to your own garden.

Explore your inner artist as you put paint to canvas. Learn brush techniques as well as color theory as you create a piece of artwork to remind you of your time on the Farm.

Create your own custom keychain using needle and plastic canvas. Learn needle and finishing techniques.

Head down to Old Walland Pond to learn the basics of canoeing. You will learn to enter and exit your boat as well as paddling stroke techniques.

Blackberry Farm is a year-round, family friendly property and children of all ages are welcome! Charges for an additional person or children sharing the same room as their parents/adults are complimentary for children three years and below, while children four years and above will incur an additional nightly charge per person. The traditional room rate included breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our restaurants or at Camp Blackberry during our normal dining hours. This also included in-room pantry snacks and beverages.
